3D printers are amazing tools — but they’re also finicky. Here’s a quick guide to solving common issues we’ve seen (and fixed) many times.
🟡 1. First Layer Not Sticking
- Level your bed carefully (manual or assisted)
- Ensure the nozzle is clean and not too high
- Use glue stick or hairspray if needed
🔴 2. Filament Not Extruding
- Check for clogs in the nozzle or heatbreak
- Make sure your filament isn’t tangled or wet
- Heat up and do a cold pull to clean out debris
🟠 3. Warping or Corners Lifting
- Use a heated bed with the right temperature
- Try a brim or raft in your slicer
- Enclose the printer for larger prints
🔵 4. Layer Shifting
- Check belt tension — not too loose or too tight
- Make sure the printer is on a stable surface
- Inspect stepper drivers and cooling fans
